My Dear Friends in Christ,

As we go about this season and tell others of the joy in our hearts we may be inclined to get into arguments about minor things of the bible and forget what is important. We need to bring our friend, family member, and acquaintance back to the cross. What are they doing with what Jesus did for them on the cross? You will find that they may refuse to make a decision and would rather argue over minor points on the bible. Most of us are not bible scholars so it will not take them much time to get us in an area where we have no answer. Have you been there? I have. Remember bring them back to the cross and if they refuse, pray, and go on and await another opportunity from God. I have found it is better not to argue the minds that are not open to the gospel and wait for God’s working in their lives. We cannot make them decide (the Holy Spirit moves the heart), we are only to give as clear of a message as possible and prayerfully answer genuine questions to the best of our ability.

I pray as this goes out that everyone prepares themselves by:

1-Knowing the steps to salvation and being able to clearly explain those steps

2-Praying for the boldness to tell others of the joy in our hearts

3-Being ready to tell of the joy in our hearts and bring them to the cross
