The ruler of this world (Satan) doesn't want us to see promises such as Isaiah 41:10, because should we choose to believe and cling to this promise our fear, and the enemies hold, is removed and the mighty power of God is released to do His awesome work with and around us.

 

Let's meditate for a moment on this verse.  What a wonderful promise the LORD is giving us here!  He is with us, so we've no need to fear (also see 1 John 4:18).  He is our God so we have no reason to anxiously look about us (see Matt. 6:25-34).  He will strengthen us (also see Phil. 4:13), He will help us and He will uphold us with HIS righteous right hand (see 2 Chron. 20:14-17).  With a promise like this we can do any and everything He's called us to do through Him; for it's done in His strength.

 

Heavenly Father, thank you for Your promise here in Isaiah 41:10.  We turn to You and cling to Your promise to be with, strengthen and help us, uphold us with Your righteous right hand.  To You be all glory and honor in all we do; and in everything we do may we rightly represent You.  In Jesus name we thank you for hearing and answering this prayer we pray.  Amen.
