Her first Touch was the hand of Jesus
Her first Sound was the Angel singing
Her first Breath was the pure sweet air of Heaven

Her first Bite was of the Bread of Life
Her first Word was Father
Her first Memories are of those of
her Mommy, Daddy, and Big Sister
embracing her in the womb,
speaking words of love
and singing lullabies of comfort.
Jade Brenna will always be held
in the hearts of those who love her,
and her heart is filled with the ones she loves.
Look ahead to that moment in heaven
when, again, you will embrace
for an eternity.

Right now the tears flow freely
and hearts break in two with grief
But our Father has a plan for us
and he is our greatest relief
Questions will consume us
for we do not understand why
That God would take her from us
and cause our hearts to cry
If only we could turn back time
to a day not long ago
But God in his infinite wisdom
only He could know
He would not take her from us
to turn us away in pain
Only to bring us closer to Him
our blessings still to gain
And although I never knew her
and I never touched her face
I know that she is warm now
in God's loving embrace
Right there beside Him watching
is where she'll always stand
Looking down upon us all
giving God a hand
I know the pain will leave us
though the memories never will
He promises us compassion
and our spirits will be still
And never shall we forget
the beauty that He made
For Heaven is ever richer still
