About Me

My name is Joel Arca. My first car was a 1986 Subaru XT Coupe 4wd Turbo. This car was different, that is what I liked about it. It only made 110hp.

It gave out on me and I now drive a 1993 VW Corrado SLC VR6.

I found this one at Santa Monica VW. It is Clasic Green Pearl Metallic with tan leather interior and a 5 speed transmission (who would get one in auto?) This is what my car looked like when it was basically stock. I have done a lot of modifications since then. I love the the VW Corrado SLCs and the new VW Golf GTI VR6s. That is why this page is dedicated to these cars. My wife, Christine, and I both love Vws and hate those too-common Hondas. She graduated from UCI in 1999. She drives a 2003 Platinum Grey Metallic Jetta GLS 1.8t.
