About us
We are located in the rainy but beautiful Pacific Northwest.

The Coronado 35 is our second sailboat, after we have owned a trailerable 26 ft sailboat for over a year and got the feel for sailing and owning (maintaining) a boat.

While we enjoyed our first sailboat on weekend cruises, our second boat, the Coronado 35, serves us as our home and we aren't doing any sailing with it (yet), because of a dissembled motor at the time of writing.

(Of course, with a *sailboat* one could leave the dock under sails alone.... but we are far from being enough confident to do this in our marina).

We bought the Coronado 35 simply with the idea to live aboard, but not go cruising or sailing the world. I guess we are in Phase 1 right now. The second one will be to untie those lines and go try out the sails, when the motor is fixed.

As much as we just sit at the dock, almost chained to it (just like all the other 80% of all the sailboats around our marina), our boat does feel like HOME. We put very much effort into improving the interior; to make it cozy, clean and warm.

We are not know-it-all's -- quite the opposite! You might notice that this homepage focuses mostly on the less technical aspects of the boat: the interior arrangement, the set-up, the improvements to make it more liveable and cozy. No details about the old, greasy motor here!

We moved aboard in Fall of 2004 and can't imagine to move back on land again.

Can you?
