A joyous wedding and a hideous exit have been unveiled as Corrie's festive offering this year - and it sounds like it's going to be the best yet!

Claire Casey and Ashley Peacock will marry in a snow-covered Coronation Street which will include a huge Celebration in the Rovers afterwards. The wedding is going to be 'magical' and heartening!

Amongst the happiness, Karen McDonald has gone off the rails after a revelation which provokes serious reactions and consequences. She leaves the Street on Christmas Day pregnant after several huge bust ups with her enemies and husband. Her exit is going to be one of the most dramatic of all time with Suranne Jones stretched to her limits.
