Fred Elliot:
Big and loud, Fred is Ashley's 'father'. He works at the Butchers shop. Unlucky in love, former love interests include Petula Peach, Eve Sykes and Penny King.

Ashley Peacock:
Shy, well known for his high voice, Ashley was devastated when Maxine was murdered by Richard Hillman. Since, he hired Nanny Claire to look after Josh but they formed a relationship and are now engaged to marry.

Claire Casey:
A female version of Ashley, Claire is kind, considerate and caring.
