Candice Shaw:
Taken under Audrey Robert's wing, she was disowned by her mum. Has taken a fancy to Jason Grimshaw and secretly has a thing for Warren Baldwin. Other love interests included Todd Grimshaw

Maria Sutherland:
Glamourous and sexy, Maria is a sweet girl. She used to date Tyrone Dobbs but they broke up. Other love interests inlcude Jamie Baldwin and Nick Tisley. Enemies with Leanne Battersby

Kirk Sutherland:
Dumb but meaning well, Kirk is a firm favourite. His girlfriend, Fiz, is everything to him.

Maya Sharma:
Maya is Dev's wayward ex - she's pyscho and Dev knows it. Unpredictable, Maya is a real livewire.

Sunita Parekh:
Together with Dev Alahan - suffered a brain tumor but survived the operation. Almost married Ciaran McCarthy.

Dev Alahan:
Engaged to Sunita Parekh. Owns several corner shops. Love interests inlcluded Sunita and Deirdre Racheid.

Ciaran McCarthy:
Was engaged to Sunita Parekh. Mischevious, he was arrested for going AWOL from the Navy. Owns McCarthy's Bar.

Shelly Unwin:
Blond and bubbly, 'Sunshine Shelly' married Bigamist Peter Barlow which crushed her and her trust. Now hopes to find love with builder Charlie Stubbs.

Charlie Stubbs:
A womaniser, Charlie is seeing Shelly. Made a pass at Shelly's Mum, Bev, which resulted in her leaving.

Betty Turpin:
Famous founder of the 'Hotpot', Betty works behind the bar but is close to retirement.

Audrey Roberts:
Gail's mother, Audrey is the owner of the Salon where she works with Maria and Candice. Her husband, Alf, passed away. Was driven insane (literally) by Richard Hillman.

Blanche Hunt:
Rude and loud mouthed, battleaxe Mum of Deirdre Racheid speaks her mind and is not afraid to gossip about other people.

Emily Bishop:
Saintly Emily is everyone's friend. She managed to stop pyscho nanny Brenda Ferns from killing Sarah Louise Platt's baby girl. Often gets tired by Norris Cole's ways.

Norris Cole:
Gossipy and cynical, Norris works in the Kabin with Rita and often irritates her, despite being good friends.

Rita Sullivan:
Calm and content, Rita enjoys life with her friends in Weatherfield including Norris, Emily and Audrey. Low points include being taken to court by evil Cilla Brown and chased to Blackpool by psycho Alan Bradley.

Sean Smith:
A friend to Eileen Grimshaw, openly Gay Sean is a camp man with a past that he's trying to forget. Bubbly and happy, Sean is everybody's friend.
