Eileen Grimshaw:
Mum of the family, manages to hold things together. Sarcastic and witty, Eileen works at the cab firm ran by Steve McDonald. She loves her two sons and also has a softer side which she rarely shows. She knows how to pack a punch and has been single ever since she split from her husband. Only other significant love interest was Harry Flagg.

Jason Grimshaw:
The womaniser. He works for Charlie Stubbs and is a one-night-stand guy. Love interests have included Sarah Louise Platt, Candice Shaw, and even Gail Platt! Was responsible for half-brother Todd's exit.

Todd Grimshaw (gone):
Todd had a hard life. He started out romancing Sarah Louise Platt and stayed with her for a long time, being a great father figure to Bethany Platt. However, when Karl Foster, a gay nurse, came on the scene, Todd became attracted to them and they had an affair. He realised he was gay and was forced to split with Sarah, pregnant at the time. Due to the stress of the revelation, Sarah went into premature labour and baby Billy tragically died before Todd could see him. Discovering brother Jason in bed with Sarah was the last straw and Todd left Weatherfield to focus on his life and Uni.
