About Corrie
Coronation Street started way back in 1960. Back then it broadcast only in black and white. It is and was the first ever soap opera that has survived until the present day. It has been a household favourite for years. Over the years, many changes have occurred, from the sets being expanded to the amount of episodes increasing.
Over the years there have been some exciting storylines, more recently the Richard Hillman killing spree which drew huge audiences, Peter Barlow's Bigamy, Todd Grimshaw's sexuality and Tracy Barlow's Baby Tug-of-love storyline. Less recently storylines including the classic Blackpool episode where Rita Sullivan was chased by the deranged Alan Bradley, who was ran over by a tram, The Deirdre/Ken/Mike love triangle, and many more.
New viewers can watch Corrie on ITV1 on Sunday Monday Wednesday and Friday. Up-to-date schedule information, which can change, can be found in the episodes section of this site.
