Here are some pictures of the dollhouse I made for my wife.

She always wanted this dollhouse, but it was very difficult to find it in Europe, especially in Portugal where we live.

So, after an intensive search on the internet looking for a hobby shop that could eventually have this kit available, we finally found it in a hobby shop in London, UK.

So, we decided to buy there, otherwise it would be very expensive to order from USA due to the customs duties we would have to pay plus transport cost. We bought the kit in September 2002 and completed 2 weeks ago in February 2003.

It was a hard work to make it, especially because the modification of the stairs as well as the outside floors (porch and balconies), kitchen and small upper room floor which are made of clay, painted and varnished trying to imitate the real ceramic floor.

Now finished, it really looks good.

I have also electrified the house using conductor tape applied under the wallpapers and I have also made the inside lamp shades by printing them in the computer.

Only the two outside lamps as well as the fire place were purchased.

The bottom of the house and the chimney are covered with real stone; schist collected in the mountains and finished with varnish.

The inside decoration is not completed yet, this is a work for my wife. I hope she will make it nice.

Ok, thats all for now. We dont have a web site yet, this is a matter I have to work on soon.
