CORONADO TOASTMASTERS OF ALBUQUERQUE
Club meetings are workshops where you study and practice your communication and leadership skills with others who are there for the same reason as you. You learn by doing and by watching fellow Coronado club members. For more information about our meetings every Friday at Noon, visit our homepage, www.geocities.com/coronadotm
SPEECH MANUALS
Members begin their Toastmasters experience by working through a basic Communication & Leadership Manual. This “C&L” manual is developed by Toastmasters International and follows a program based on individual study, practice and helping one another.
Once you’ve completed the Communication & Leadership Manual, you have achieved the level of Competent Toastmaster. You will be recognized by your Toastmasters Club, Toastmasters International, and very often by your employer. This marks a substantial step in your progress as a trained speaker.
And, after completing the Communication & Leadership Manual, you may choose from a variety of manuals to continue your learning while pursuing additional accreditations.
The Advanced Communication & Leadership Program Library contains the following subject manuals:
The Entertaining Speaker
Speaking to Inform
Public Relations
The Discussion Leader
Specialty Speeches
Speeches by Management
The Professional Speaker
Technical Presentations
Persuasive Speaking
Communicating on Television
Storytelling
Interpretive Reading
Interpersonal Communications
Special Occasion Speeches
