Flying the Weevil
Here are a couple of pictures of the Weevil in flight.
This first set of pics is from Jan 13, 02. The conditions were absolutely atrocious. The wind was 28 KMH steady with gusts that felt like twice that. The temperature was -7 with a windchill of -19 to -29. We loved it. There were a few of us flying that day, mind you, all coroplast planes. We flew a Debonair, the Weevil and the Cerebus. Anyways, on with the pics.

I guess you could call this my version of a flight report.
As I was saying, just a little windy.
Getting ready to go.
Despite a close call and a bit of a recovery on take off from the impact, things went well.
Take off near vertical and what a hoot! pulled up a bit and the wind took it straight up.
Straight and level flight is a snap, take your hands off the radio
Hovering in the wind at about 1/4 throttle is pretty fun too.
Spins and barrel rolls are easy as pie, even in the severe winds.
Coming in for a landing.
And, touch down. Plane came to a nice perfect landing. mind you the wind then flipped it over after it stopped.
If you have any trouble with your Weevil being over sensitive on the up and down try moving the C OF G about a 1/2 inch forward. That seems to help. On three planes only one has had the problem so far.
