How to build a WEEVIL fuselage and tail
Cut away the area meant for the spar. I used a dremel but a hot knife or even a hacksaw will do fine.
Same here for the tail.
With one of the scraps from earlier. mark the pice 6" down from the top and 12" from there. Trim the front to match the fuse and your off.
Count in ten flutes for a rudder and remove one side fo a hinge. I changed the picture here for a after thought. If a notch is taken out of the front of the bottom of the stan it makes installing the rear wing mount much easier.
Get a small piece of scrap and cut it like so to support the rudder.
I used goop to glue this pice into place. Others will do fine. Glue it to the bottom of the rudder/ vertical stabilizer.
Start with a piece of downspout 32 and 1/2 inches long, Mark the tail 7" in from the rear on the top and down the center. Now mark 2 mm to each side of the line for the widtnh of your coro tail.
Glue it into place in the rear slot of the fuselage and we're off.
Mark in 10" (not the 7" in the picture,) from the front of the fuse across the bottom and up both sides. A second line is added to match your spar width and up 1 3/4" for the height of the spar.
That's it for this section, click back and onto the assembly section for the next portion. Enjoy.
