My Weevil has made it as far as South Africa, I am so proud!!!  HA HA.
I intend to post pics here of Weevil builder's planes whenever I get them.
This is Stef's Weevil from South Africa.
I think Stef did an excellent job, don't you?
Notice the rear skid as he used landing gear in place of the skis.A simple matte
Here's one I never thought of, notice the dowels holding the fuel tank in place.
Here's a quote I copied from the rc combat forum from Stef in South Africa,
Hovernut, How you could have thought it wouldn't go far, I don't know. That front to back delta design of your's sparked the interest of many spadonians. When I first saw it, I knew imediately that I would have one soon.
As for the maiden flight, I was surprised, it's a very stable flyer. I also found that it is very sensitive on the elevons, especially on aileron input. I used the delta mixing function on my JR642XP radio. Travel adjustments are all 100% while ail D/R is 55% and el D/R is 65%. I flew mostly at 30% throttle into the 15-20 km/h wind and 15% down wind. Downwind was still faster than into the wind.

Stef's  Weevil pictured here. The large tail wheel is so that Stef can take off and land on the beautiful beaches near his home.
