Level of competition: The Nascar class is the most competitive and highly skilled class at the Village Hobby Center. Therefore, the highly skilled drivers are in this class.
Chassis:
Any oval pan car chassis. The chassis and body must be at least 0.25" from the ground.
Batteries:
3300 NiMh batteries ONLY.
Bodies:
Nascar oval bodies ONLY! Any manufacturer is accepted, as long as it is trimmed along the stock lines and the bumper is not cut out. The windows must also be transparent. The spoiler's maximum height is 1" and the minimun height is 0.5".
Motors:
Any 27 turn, 24 degree stock motor. Cutting the communator and normal motor maintenance is permitted, but no drilling in the armature. Basically all ROAR rules apply. Right now, using a brushless system is contraversal, but a final decision will be made A.S.A.P.
Level of competition: The Nastruck class is new this season, but it's mainly replacing the Bolink Spec class. It's not just a beginner's class, but it's also for racers who like to run close with others., and basicallyy everybpodythas the same money bugget.
Chassis:
Any oval pan car chassis. The chassis and body must be at least 0.25" from the ground.
Batteries:
2400 NiCd and 3000 NiMh batteries ONLY.
Bodies:
Nastruck bodies ONLY! Basically they are like Nascar Craftsmen Truck Series style bodies.
Motors:
New Trinity hand-out motors. Yes, the same motors that they used over at the Snowbird Nationals. They can be cut and maintained, but they must use specific brush and springs that the race director demands. Everybody in the Nastruck class will be using the same gear ratio. The race director will determine what gear ratio is well suited.
Level of competition: No specific level, just everybody having fun.
Chassis:
Any off-road buggy or stadium truck chassis. The chassis and body must be at least 1" from the ground.
Batteries:
Any batteries can be used.
Bodies:
Only three off-road bodies can be used. A stadium truck body, buggy body, or modified body.
Motors:
Any motors can be used. You can use any modified motor, stock motor, and even a brushless motor system. The driver must have control over the vehicle, because if not, he/she will bedisqualified from the race. The reason for this, is because we want to have fun out there on the track, not destroy other racer's vehicles.
