'04-'05 RC season changes

If you are a local RC racer at Ronbo's RC (Cornwall RC), or a RC racer from another track who will be attending a race at the Village Hobby Center (Cornwall RC), we advise you to read these changes for the upcoming '04-'05 RC racing season.



	Ronbo's R/C Racing The 2004-2005 Racing Season is upon us once again. We have made some changes and wanted to notify you of these. Enclosed is a Fall / Winter Racing Schedule. Our Banquet this year will be on the 22nd of October. We will have a Pot Luck Supper starting for 7pm then Trophies and Prizes will be awarded, and we will have our Famous "Ronbo's Auction". We will be running 2 classes this season Nascar and Nastruck. And Mini-T and Gearbox Classes are pending. The rules for the Nascar Class are the same as last year. Cars will be checked after each race. Car's Ride height, Weight, Body height and motor rules will be posted at the Tech's table. When it comes to the cars rules. Tech has last word and his word is final!. The rules for the Nastruck Class is as follows; You will be required to run a "Spec" Trinity Monster Motor, 2400 or 3000 MaH 4 cell battery packs and Nastruck Bodies only. The Racing Season begins on Saturday September 11th at 6:30pm Sharp you must register by 6pm. If you will be running late please call ahead so we can put your name in the computer. Or you will not be able to run your first heat. Practice "Fun Racing" is now on Friday Evenings till 10pm. You can come anytime throughout the week to practice. We will have a drivers meeting on the 11th at 6:30 to go over any questions and new rules, if you are not present it is your responsibility to find out what was discussed. We also will have a "Curse Cup" anyone caught using fowl language will be fined $0.50 which will go in the cup and used for next years banquet. The 50/50 Ticket profit will also go towards the banquet, you can purchase these tickets when you register or at the canteen throughout the evening. There will not be a radio impound at this time. The final decision on any matter will be made by Lois or Ron Only. Any complaints or concerns should be addressed to them in a confidential manner. Anyone who wishes to purchase a Membership this year the cost is $30.00 which gives you 10% off R/C parts in the store, a pitting spot and a members card for the canteen. Plus racing cost will be $8.00 for one car and $4.00 for a second car. Practice cost will be $5.00. For all Non-Members the racing cost is $10.00 for one car and $5.00 for a second car. Practice cost is $5.00. New to the Hobby Shop is the Slot Car Track it is a 135 foot 8 lane track. We will be having races on Sunday Afternoons and Tuesday Evenings. You can practice anytime except on Saturdays We hope to see you in the new Season.
