~ She's In God's Hands ~

She was a pearl of wisdom,
The Lord was her mainstay.
Shes in Gods hands, and safe at last,
The night she passed away.

She leaned on Him, throughout her life,
She triumphed over death.
Shes in Gods hands - I miss her so,
That October when she left.

She didnt want to leave us,
She thought she still had time.
Shes in Gods hands, beyond our reach,
She left this life behind.

Now, theres no pain she has to bear,
Christ took all pain away.
Hell do the same for you, you know,
If youll take time to pray.

Her soul resides with Jesus,
He took her home that night.
On that October evening,
She journeyed to the Light.

With an angel to the left of her,
An angel to the right.
They took each hand,
They said, fear not, all is well,
You have won the fight

~ IN MEMORY ~
This poetry is dedicated to my mother who left this world to be with the Lord on Oct. 18, 2001.
She was a born-again christian and had been most all her life.
She instilled christian values in her children and was a Godly influence in her actions and deeds.
She was a friend and a mother at the same time. Her death was unexpected and came quickly.
She loved her family and wanted to stay.
She went to her heavenly reward at 8:00 p.m. on a chilly Oct. evening.
She died from cancer of the liver.
She's home at last, but greatly missed by all of us.
She was 78 years old.--We miss you mother/grandma.
