His power is true
He came down from Heaven
To save me and you.
He loves us all dearly
His son paid the price
His blood, an atonement
A big sacrifice!
He loves all His children
His saints by and by
He knew that one day
He'd return in the sky.
Then, we'd all be together
On those streets paved with gold
And mansions of plenty
The Bible has told.
Our bodies will change
And our souls will discover
Why there, all along
Was my mother, father and brother.
So, don't have your doubts
And be of good cheer
The time is close by
When the Lord will appear.
The heaven will roll back
The trumpets will sound
The Lord has returned
No more tears to be found.
