Corn Island Band
The Corn Island Band, a Louisville, Kentucky based bluegrass/acoustic music band, was formed in 1999.  The name Corn Island comes from the original settlement at the falls of the Ohio river, established by General George Rogers Clark during the Revolutionary War and reflects the band's Louisville roots.  The members of the Corn Island Band have been playing music most of their lives and bring together bluegrass and acoustic music with a contemporary edge.

Corn Island Band
Corn Island Band's first CD - "First Crop" -  was released May 1, 2004.  The CD contains a great mix of contemporary and traditional bluegrass music and two original compositions by the band.
