Meeting
On the second Monday of the month we meet have our general meeting. We discuss club business, and then have a discussion topic or a guest speaker. This gives us the opportunity to meet new and prospective members, and relax while the children play.
Play Dates
We have several play dates a month. In warmer months we meet at local parks to go for a walk or play on the playground. In winter we meet at the PRC or other inside play areas. We often meet at members houses for playdates. Any member is welcome to host a play date at her house or other location. .We also have age-specific groups, such as an infant playgroup, toddler time, and a preschooler group. These typically meet at least once a month in addition to our other groups.
Field Trips
We usually take one field trip a month. In the past we have gone to Harris Hill and the Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen. We are always looking for more field trips, so let us know if you know of any fun places for us to go!
MOMS Night Out
Once a month we have a MOMSNight Out! This is a chance to relax and spend time with each other. Any member can suggest a new activity. Previous activities have been Do-It-Herself workshop at Home Depot and going out for dinner on Market Street in Corning. We also often have MOMS Night In, where we meet at a member's home and have game night, dessert night, or just relax.
Book Club
Once a month we meet to discuss a book that every one has read. Any member can suggest a book and help facilitate this group.
Stroller Walk Group
This group meets twice a month to get in some exercise. In warmer months we meet at parks. In the winter and when there is bad weather we meet at a local mall.
