gracefully.
landing at my feet
their sweet aroma
surrounds me,
fulfilling my senses,
with all i have
i have longed for.

these petals

some people come into our lives, and quickley go.
some people move our souls to dance,
they awaken us to a new understanding with the whisper of their wisdom.
some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon.
they stay in our lives for awhile, and leave footprints in our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.

enclosed in a small space,
surrounded by everyone,
but affected by no one.
all alone, i live.

there is no sun, no warmth,
only darkness.
the rain pours down continuously.
never ceasing.
and all my ears can hear,
is the deafening roar of thunder.

as the sun breaks through the morning sky,
my eyes open to a world unknown.
i am overwhelmed by this newfound radiance.
the powerful aura fills my heart and soul,
and takes contol of all my senses.

and in this world, i find safety.
i know, i shall never fear again.
i am blind to all evil,
i know not its existance.
the mood here is almost angelic.

suddenly, the walls crash down around me.
the sheild i had such faith in,
shatters before my eyes.
i find myself alone, all alone.
and my eyes close, as darkness settles in.
