| Due Vlieland is an Island, it will happen that sometimes things wash a shore.This time a large container filled with cigarettes washed a shore on the Vliehors. They were soaked with sea water and ideas were born to wrape the strafe targets with cigarettes for the FWIT excercise. A spectacular sight it was to see the 20mm projectiles hitting the wrapped target.It gave a snowy effect! The best FWIT gunner of the day was pleased with a couple of dozen soaked cigarette boxes! |
