| Clayton Sheasley: Hand Hammered Aluminum Clayton Sheasley was one of Arthur Armours' earliest employees before he went on to produce his own line of fine hand hammered aluminum giftware. He used several locations in both Pittsburgh,Pa. and Slippery Rock, Pa. both before and after World War 2. In 1950 he went on to produce wooden church furnishings and eventually became a minister. This 59 page monograph includes a historical essay, 1947 catalog and price list, die motif list, vintage ads, design drawings and an image gallery on photo quality inkjet paper, showing scores of wonderful aluminum items. | Castle Art: Cartwright Metal Products This monograph is based on the aluminum, brass, copper, iron and stainless steel items made by Lewis and William Cartwright in New Castle, Pa. The repousse aluminum and copper items are very unique and of exceptional quality. They produced a number of items from 1946-1957. A total of 28 pages includes a historical essay, product list and Cartwright image gallery with 16 pages of unique pieces along with pictures of both Lewis and William Cartwright. | John Wesley Findley and Frank Herbert Deets: Wrought Aluminum This 2 part monograph contains sections on Findley and Deets, both of whom produced aluminum giftware using repousse techniques. They both lived in Stoneboro, Pa., a small town near Grove City home to the Wendell August Forge. Deets designed and engraved several of the dies that Findley used in his production and also engraved dies that he used in his own production of aluminum. Findley was one of Arthur Armours original employees. A total of about 40 pages including historical essay a motif and marks section as well as high resolution images of many pieces. Copyright 1998.
