| We are now celebrating our fourth year in our new building! September 12, 2004 was Cornerstone's Ground Breaking Ceremony. September 8 - 26. Land Cleared and excavated. Water & Sewer installed. September 27 - October 1. Foundation & Footings were poured. October 2 - 10. Grading of Lot and excavation around building completed. October 11 - 16. Cement floor is poured and the walls are up. October 17 - 23. The roof is on and the parking lot is curbed & paved. October 24 - 30. The windows are in. The roof is shingled. The heating & exhaust ductwork is in, as are the lawn sprinkler system and phone lines. October 31 - November 6. The sidewalks are poured and the block is all installed on our building. The electicians have began prep work. November 7-14. All the electrical wiring and plumbing is done. The final grading of our land is almost complete. Novmber 15-21. The brick is on the entryway, the steel siding is going on. The sheet rocking is almost done. Most of the landscaping is complete. The lawn is seeded and ready to sprout next spring. The front double doors were hung, but no glass yet. We have temporary doors on the other two exits until our regular doors get here. November 22-27. The Sheet Rock is up. Half of the steel siding, facia and gutters are up. The electric service panel is installed. November 28 - December 4. The outside of the Church is almost finished. Just gutters and a few more things to do to the canopy over our main entryway. Most of the taping of the sheet rock in the Sanctuary is done, but it still needs to be sanded and painted. The Gathering Room, Rest Rooms, Hallway, Kitchen & Nursery are painted. Thank you to all of our friends and Church members who painted last Saturday. It looks great! December 5 - 12. The gutters and downspouts are on. The tiling in the rest rooms is finished. The kitchen cabinets are in and look beautiful. Thank you to Jay, Kent, Dan, Jim Jr., & Pastor Jim for installing them. The heating and cooling plant is in, but not operating yet. The Sanctuary is ready for paint. The parking lot light and all the exterior lights are installedDecember 13 - 18. The painting is complete. The outside of the building is completely finished. The smaller exit doors are installed. The counter top and kitchen pass through door are installed . The rest rooms are complete and working. The entry way is tiled. All the electric is in and everything works! All the millwork and interior doors are stained and in place. The carpet and vinyl flooring should be in soon too. Everything passed the city building inspection and will be issued our permit of occupancy this week! December 19 - 25th We are ready to move in. December 26, 2004 - We held our first Sunday Morning Service in our new Church Building today! We are just as happy and excited as can be! Praise The LORD! Everything is ready.
