Ski Camp - January 2002 - Tug Hill Plateau, NY After a tradition begun the previous year at the Tamworth, NH ski camp, the ski team members challenge one another to a relay race of sorts. The objective this season was to consume an entire can of beverage, then run bare foot around the cabins without succumbing to the snowmobilers next door, frostbite or the animated snowman.
Colin tells himself its just another 12oz of Snapple. I guess he picked a pretty bad flavor - must have been that new Hops and Barley variety. Mara gets ready to blow by her enfeebled opponent.
Unfortunately, Colin's team was disqualified. He clearly allowed some of his fine Snapple beverage to pour on the ground. That's just clearly against the rules and etiquette of the game.
On the following evening, Craig teaches the team the fine art of drinking Snapple right out of the side of the can. After learning to "shotgun", the team knew they could beat Clarkson and MIT in the only sport that really matters (?).
Tom had preregistered for a civil engineering class on the design of wood structures in the spring semester. He was so excited about the class that he decided he would test the cabin's beam integrity by hanging upside down in the middle of the living room. |
