Cornfed Suspension Solid Axle Swap part 2
These are some of the first pics of the truck after remaking the SAS with a Dana 60 HP front and a Chevy 14 bolt full floater rear.  With a final total lift of 11" Suspension lift front and rear and a 3"bodylift  and currently running 38.5x14.5 Superswamper TSL SX's on 16.5x9.75 rims.  The truck is currently pulling better flex than before the full width axles and I can't wait to get the Hummer rims so I can be beadlocked to airdown bigtime for offroad.

The axles used were from a 79 Ford F-350 front High Pinion and to this I added a set ARB front air locker and 5.13 gears, and the rear axle is from a 74 3/4 ton Chevy Suburban and I installed 5.13 gears and a Detroit locker to match in the rear.

I also added a rear disk brake conversion from Tim at www.shakerbuilt.com as well as having the tierods/draglink and getting the crossover steering arm from Tim as well.  All in all, the man knows his heavy axle steering and brakes.
