Cornfed Suspension Solid Axle Swap
These are some of the beginning pics of the truck after the completion of the SAS.  With a final total lift of 10" Suspension lift front and 9" suspension rear and a 3"bodylift  and currently running 38.5x14.5 Superswamper TSL SX's on a 15x12 rim.  The truck is currently pulling 34" of flex total on one wheel driving the ramp forward and 38" of flex driving the ramp in reverse.  The use of Rancho 33" fully extended shocks allows for the suspension to go to it's limits without going fully compressed or fully extended on the shocks.

The axle used was a Dana 44 front axle from a 87 Jeep Grand Waggoneer and I installed a Detroit locker and 4.88 gears to go with the factory TRD rear locker and the 4.88's installed in the rear diff.

The ultimate Toyota Solid Axle guru's page...this man knows and has connections you wouldn't believe.
He threaded out my tierods and suggested tierod ends and many other ideas too numerous to mention.
