Really Funny Story....

So, tonight I was feeding Tulio, my BRB, two small mice, since my normal supply of rats was all out of rats. These mice were really small, like large fuzzies. I wasn't watching him as he ate, but I guess things were ... messy, as there was this red gunk all around the feeding container (and Tulio.) And he can still smell mouse smells, and acting hungry.
So I decided to hold him with a paper towel, and let him kinda wipe himself off. But then, as I grab him (with gloves) and hold him with the paper towel, he starts smelling a part of his body.
And I'm thinking about those pictures of Kingsnakes that you occasionally see on the net where they're trying to eat themselves. And Tulio opens his mouth, like he's gonna do the same. Which is totally uncool for a boid.
So I say out loud "Dude, that is soooo stupid!" and he looks up at me, closes his mouth, and continues slithering through the paper towel, saving both of us from embarrassment.
Just one of those moments you can only share at places like this.
