As most of you already know, Pat has joined the Army in January 2001 and we are currently at our first duty assignment in Stuttgart, Germany. Patrick is currently away at Primary Leadership and Development Course (PLDC) which he has to have to be a Sergeant.
We are still homeschooling our three oldest chldren. It is quite the adventure. We are using the Weaver curriculum for our Bible, Social Studies, Penmanship, and Science. For reading/phonics we use Hooked on Phonics and also Courtney is using Explode the Code to supplement. For math we are using Math-U-See. For Spelling, Language Arts, and Writing we are using Spectrum. Tyler is in 5th grade, Garret is in 3rd grade, and Courtney is in 1st grade!
Tyler is our first-born. He was born in June 1993. He is an awesome artist. If you check out his photo page link you will see his picture of Seth that he drew. Tyler loves to play Playstation games and loves to build Bionicles out of his Legos.
Garret is our second born son. He is also a wonderful artist. He is our jokester and is constantly telling knock, knock jokes. He is currently amazing me with his mathematical skills!!
Courtney is the reigning Princess in our clan. She is commonly known as Corkybug or just Corky for short. She loves to play with her Barbies and with her pets which consist of those beany babies you get out of the happy meals at McDonald's. She is very sociable and makes friends very easily. She loves to color.
Seth is our fourth blessing! He is getting ready to turn a year old. He is already walking. He can say the word no and duck. His older siblings love him so much and he loves them. His amazing brown eyes just make me melt every time I look at him! Seth seems to have a special connection with his daddy. From the time he was two weeks old when daddy went back to work, Seth missed him and noticed when he wasn't around. To this day, he seems to be fussy when daddy is away. I have let him "talk" to daddy on the phone when he calls. Today he was playing with an old cell phone and put it up to his ear and said "dad" along with a bunch of baby gibberish. So I think he was trying to get his daddy to talk to him on the phone! What a cutie!!!!
