Currently the property is home to Studio 8 (full service hair care, nail shop: pedicures & manicures, & tanning), and LeEstique : Facials, Waxings, Peels (chemical & UltraSonic), Makeup, ... and Massage Therapy. The Homestead building also has: a 1 bedroom rental (long-term rental) and a 2 bedroom Fully Furnished Vacation Rental (weekends, weekly, seasonal,....) and in the Lower LEVEL of THE BARN , .... A Unique Shopping Experience: Handcrafted items / Coffee-n-Cream The interior of the barn remains as original as possible, we have transformed it into a year-round shopping destination that will bring you back in time. In the "common area" , you can sit and relax while viewing a wonderful variety of local antiques that decorate the barn's interior decor. We have a wide variety of expertly hand-crafted items from local craftsmen and women. We have the best of the best ! Because we want to keep the "barn era's atmosphere", we have selected items that have an "old craft style" workmanship. We have Quilts: patchwork, rag, and applique. We have woodworking, knitting, crocheting, felting, pottery, sewing, beading, jewelry making, glassblowing, chainsaw carved Art....and much more, and we continue to accept more items daily. We are the exclusive outlet for the art prints of our local well-known "True-Primitive" artist, Clara Mae Towers Orto. Each of her prints comes with the story that she has written describing the original painting. Her paintings are done in acrylics with a tiny, Triple "0" paint brush and take an average of three months to complete. (watch for a link to view her wonderful artwork online) *She makes an occassional visit to our Coffee Shop to visit and to see what's new in The Barn. Clara Mae prints can be purchase matted & framed or not. The matting & framing is also done locally. The Coffee-n Cream Shop has Fresh Ground Breakfast Blend daily. We also brew several specialty flavors daily,.. we brew into airpots, which ensure that we will never have "burnt " coffee. We will have several small cafe-sized tables where you can sit and enjoy our atmosphere while having a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate. a fresh bakery item, a hotdog or a bowl chili. (We may be serving soup soon!) The Ice Cream Machine is on year-round! It's Soft-Serve and it's Delicious! Besides cones, sundaes, shakes and flurries, ... we will also make frozen fruit drinks! The Ice Cream service window is on the front of The Barn! (Ofcourse, we don't make you stand outside in the snow to order,... during the cold months, .. you order at our inside counter,.... then you decide if you want to sit at one of our cozy tables to eat,.. or get it to go!) Central air conditioning in the summer keeps you shopping comfortably year-round. Our Old Style "wood stove" keeps it warm and cozy in the cooler months.
