What happened to me in Angers.

I was left with no family,
Nor friends I already knew.
I was nervous to start all over,
Where to begin, I had no clue.

I went out a few times in Agers,
With just my handshake and a smile.
I said Nice to meet you, Im Corin
With my personality and American style.

I was very appreciative of you friendliness.
It made me quickly feel at home.
I found you all to be interesting,
Regardless of the country you were from.

We were forming one big group of friends;
Becoming close to all the others.
We were like one extended family,
But with international sisters and brothers.

We were always there for each other,
Through the good times and the sad.
We took good care of each other,
Because we were all that we had.

Youve created so many memories;
That will forever be in my mind.
Youre all so very special to me,
Each with unique traits to find.

Your time with me was unforgettable,
But the semester has gone by so fast.
Youll soon be returning to your homes,
And our 4 months in Angers will be a thing of the past.

You probably dont realize what youve done,
But you changed something inside of me.
Youve touched my heart & opened my mind,
And I thank you for everything with my utmost sincerity!

I will miss you all very much! - Corin

They say it takes
a minute to find a special person,
an hour to appreciate them,
a day to love them,
but then an entire life to forget them...
