This as you may have guessed is my college at Oxford University. I'd like to say that it's really famous or really old but I'd be lying if I did. Officially it was established in 1952 which is yesterday in Oxford terms. l'd also like to say that it looks like the photos on here but again I'd be lying. During the summer, if you tilt your head and close one eye, it may look like the photo here, possibly. Though you should know that I'm judging this purely by Oxford standards and compared to every other University in Britain (especially Cambridge) it's a palace. What St Anne's lacks in history and general gorgeousness it more than makes up for in its relaxed atmosphere and lack of stuffiness. We may not be top of the league academically but we do have an amazingly successful darts team - which is obviously more important in the long run than everyone gaining firsts or having a former/current prime minister in our alumini.

Just to give you some idea of where I live in relation to these photos, on the picture to the left there's a large tree on the right. I live behind this tree. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a picture of the fabulous Wolfson Building in which I live - mainly because it was built in the sixties and is somewhat painful on the eye, and the college are obviously denying its existence to future students. Like when they get here they're not going to notice two massive concrete blocks at one end of the quad. Though I suppose by then it's too late and they've been trapped here. The evil geniuses!
This section of my site is designed to give you a warts and all view of Oxford University, from a girl who definately isn't "traditional" Oxford material. It's also designed to sing the praises of the much understated St. Anne's College and to have a few digs at people from Cambridge! As usual if you've got any comments which you want to share with me: .
