| Tosha was a mix-breed dog that my mom got years before I was born. When she was a puppy, she got hit by a car, and had to get pins in her hip and lose most of her tail. By the time I was about seven and Tosha was about thirteen, she had lost most of her hearing, sight, and tail. It was then, that my parents decided that the dog who limped to and from meals, and slept under the tree between them, should be put to sleep. I had to go to school that day, crying all the way there. I miss Tosha. |
