| Tank is a Band-Tailed Pigeon. He came to us when he was between two and three months old. Apparently, our neighbor had found him below a tree just before he was ready to fly. We fed him for a long time, then decided to release him since he was a wild -yet tame- bird. He stayed in the same tree for three days, until a different neighbor called us about him. We kept kim for about six more months, and decided he was ready again to be released. Every time we see a Band-Tailed Pigeon, we hope it is Tank. |
