Tadpoles, Frogs, and Salamanders
Every year, I used to go down the street (usually with a couple friends), and catch the tadpoles and salamanders that grew in an old ditch. My family and I would watch the tadpoles grow into frogs, and also sometimes sadly watch the salamanders eat the little guys. It was a great experience, but now I wish that I had just let the animals grow up in the wild, like they were supposed to. I now realize that unless they're born in captivity, you should just leave animals alone. Usually wild animals don't do as well in captivity, anyway. The ones I caught never lived very long.
