| Norma was Sidney's sister. She was a Blue Tort English Lop, born on Friday January 26th, 2001 at my friends house. Norma was named after Norman Rockwell, my favorite artist, because I think that breed of rabbit is just a work of art. They're beautiful. My friend said that I could have the rabbit, as soon as she was old enough. I bonded with her each time I went to visit my friend. We noticed that she was always more docile than her littermates, and we had hoped that it was just her attitude. On Thursday March 8th, 2001 (the day I was supposed to take her home), she died. I was obviously very sad, and my friend told me that she was given a nice funeral. When I went to my friend's house later, she let me pick another one. Ironically, when I had to choose between one of the Opals (Opiate, included), and a solid Blue, my brother convinced me to take a Blue (Sidney). He later became the owner of Opiate. |
