Edgar and Airhead
Edgar (shown above), an English Angora, and Airhead, a French Angora, were awesome rabbits. They were out in our fenced yard all the time, and I think they were satisfied with that. However, Airhead (a doe) once went under our shed, and was killed by a raccoon or opossum. The story doesn't end there...we later figured out that she had kits under our shed, but they were killed as well. Edgar was so upset over his mate's death, that he escaped from our yard (we think to look for her). A few days later, a woman told us that her son had seen a dog attacking the poor rabbit. I loved them so much, I was going to start breeding English Angoras, but they would be too much maintinence. However, I before I decided this, I bought a Blue Tortoiseshell buck named Wendel.
This is a true dust bunny!
