Dicky

Dicky the Parakeet was another one of our rescues. Our neighbors found their cat trying to eat him, so they called my dad over to save him, and we ended up keeping him. My dad named him after a parakeet that his family had when he was a kid. Dicky was really nice, and friends with Frosty. After we had him for a while, he squeezed through the bars of his cage and flew away. That was very upsetting to us.
