Tim & I went to Paris to visit my cousin, Nick, for a weekend in November.  It was an amazing time and I mostly have Nick to thank since he allowed us to stay in his tiny room (about the size of shoebox, yet with a gorgeous view of the Eiffel Tower) and showed us around the city.  Monte Marte was all that "Amelie" made me think it would be, and if you look above, there I am waiting for my perfect, strange dreamer to come find me in the photobooth.  My favorite part was getting trashed on excellently cheap wine under the Eiffel Tower with bagguete and cheese in hand & realizing I actually did learn some French in high school.  I'll also never forget walking drunkly in the dark, happy as a clam with panini in hand only for Nick to say, "there's Notre Dame."  And I said, "where?" & he pointed to about fifty feet on my right, looming out of the night just like the stuff that Disney is made of.
