    I Remember

    Verse 1:
    I remember that song
    That you used to sing
The one about you and me
    I remember that song
    And I remember it well
And this is the way that it went

    Chorus:
Don't you know that I love you?
Don't you know that I'll never leave?
Don't you know that I'm here for you?
    Don't you know you're what I need?
I can't wait to see the sunrise
And spend my life with you
Don't you know (beat) that I love you.

    Verse 2:
You used to sing that song
    Every single day
    Sittin' on my lap,
    Laughin' as we talked
    You lay beside me
    Listenin' to me breathe
The last thing I heard at night
Was a song just for me.

    Chorus

    Verse 3:
I remember on that last day
    The day that you left
I remember the words you said to me
As you breathed your last breathe
    Smiling as you looked me
    Right in the eyes
You reached up and brushed my cheek
    And whispered your goodbye

    Chorus
This song is sort of bluesy/country, depress me type music. The beat is off and in order to get it across I would have to sing it to you. Stop cringing, you're not funny. Regardless, I hope you enjoyed it.

For those who didn't figure it out, to my mind this is what love is.
