PARIS
21/02/2004 - 24/02/2004
We left London Waterloo on the Eurostar train to Paris sometime after 11 in the morning. This is me looking hassled because we had gotten lost in the many coaches and the train was about to depart when Liam decided to take a photo! The journey was comfortable and not too long - it took us under 3 hours to reach the Gare du Nord.

These are pictures of the very lovely Familia Hotel in Paris. Liam booked us a room with a balconey as a surprise!

Us on the stairs, just outside the old-fashioned elevator.
The picture on the wall of the room (above) was hand-painted!
The hotel had many pretty tapestries hanging on its walls. Liam was fascinated by the skills of the weavers.
LIAM: Sent my 'translator' out to get a couple of coffees from across the street while I watched from our balcony! Then we sat in the fairly chilly breeze and sipped our coffee from the flimsy plastic cups they served it in! Oh, how we're living the high life.

Ok, move on, nothing to see here...
