• Queen of Attolia by Megan Whalen Turner (this is the sequel to the Newberry Honor book The Thief and I forbid you to read this book without reading the prequel)
  
• On Fortune's Wheel by Cythia Voigt (this is a sequel to Jackaroo, it'll thus be better for reading that first)
  
• The Redwall series by Brian Jacques (first book being Redwall, then Mattimeo, read those first but past that order read doesn't matter)
  
• Homeward Bounders by Diana Wynne Jones (I likewise recommend anything else by DWJ)
  
• Beauty by Robin McKinley (a retelling of my favorite fairy tale, guess what that is)
