lol, ok, well, I was at the concert at Merril Auditorium, and me and my sister were like, in the fifth row from the stage. We were having a blast. Everyone was like, jumping around and singing and stuff. Well, Nelly actually invited everyone UP ON STAGE!!!!!! My sister and I were obviously freaking out! Well, I went to move my hand, cause there were other people up there too, and I went to tap her shoulder or something, I don't remember exactly, and I accidently GRABBED HER HAIR!!!!!!!! I felt so bad!! Then, to make matters worse, when the security guy was like, ok, you guys need to get down now, I was on my way down peacfully when the guy pushed me, I tripped on a microphone wire, and did a nose dive OFF THE STAGE!!!!! some old lady was like, it's kids like you trying to start mosh pits!! And I had landed on a chair arm-rest, my knee was bleeding like crazy, and I was not in the mood to fight with an old lady. Lol. Anyway, I still have a scar on my knee, and that's my story, truthfully :) Sent in by Stephanie Neales Westbrook, Maine
My friend Doug and I went to see Nelly in Boston on March 1, and we had such a good time. We had both gone to see her in Providence the year before, and we were both really excited about being able to see her again. Because she had just won the Grammy like the week before, I made a t shirt for her, and I gave it to a roadie to give to Nelly in Boston. The Burn in the Spotlight Tour is so awesome, and if you have a chance to see it you definitely should. When I got home that night, I found an email on my computer saying I had won the chance to go see Nelly in New York on the Last Call with Carson Daly show the following Tuesday. I was so excited, I couldn't even sleep. So I made a card for her, and in the card I wrote about how I made her the shirt. I went to New York with my sister and a friend of mine, and when we were going into the study I saw an open door, and who was inside, but the band. I went in to the room, and I saw Dean, the bass player, and I asked him to give the card to Nelly for me. Then we all went to the studio, and we were all sitting in the first and second row. Dean came out to set up, and he gave me the thumbs up sign and said he gave her the card. When Nelly came out on stage, she came over to me and said "Cool shirt." I don't know if she meant the shirt I made for her, or the Nelly shirt I was wearing, but everyone with me said that she must mean the one I made for her. Later on she talked to all of us, and she even signed her autograph for me. It was so awesome. Then, during Turn Off the Light, she looked right at me, and sang right to me for part of the song, looking right into my eyes. She could tell how happy I was, because she and the other band members would smile when the looked at me. It was so incredible. She was so cool at the show, she was so nice to all of her fans. One guy even asked if he could hug her, and she said yes. It was so awesome to see Nelly Furtado both times, they are definitely two of the most memorable nights of my life. Sent in by: Zak Kudlak
It was around 2:00 on a nice sunny October day here in Cleveland, Ohio. Sitting outside of Nelly's tour bus at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame was my mom and I. There was no one else around except for a few security guards on break. My mom and I sat outside of the bus for about an hour waiting for Nelly to come out. Until one of the security guards came out to tell us that Nelly wasn't there yet she was still at her hotel and she wasn't going to arrive until an hour before this private show for a local radio stations contest winners (which I was not one) started which was at 5:30. So we left and went to my cousins birthday party and decided we would come back at 4:30 so I can try to meet Nelly. Well, we're at my cousins party getting ready to leave when all of a sudden it starts pouring down the rain but I was still determined to go down so my mom said she'd still take me, but 4 of my other family members came with us. Its already 4:30 and we're on are way down to the Rock Hall but we get stuck in so much traffic but we finally made it a little after 5. So we all went inside and asked if there was anyway we could stay for the show and they said "No" so we all went in the back by Nelly's bus in the pouring rain to see if she went inside yet and she did. So we're out in the rain then the program director for the radio station came out and told us he'd see if he could get us in and he DID. I was so excited he gave us all passes and a wristband and we got to see a great acoustic show. Then the best part was when they said everyone with a wristband on gets to meet Nelly. So when it my turn to talk to Nelly I my mind went blank, I was so nervous then my little sister told Nelly that I was her biggest fan in the world and Nelly said "You are" and I said 'yeah' then Nelly asked me what my favorite song was (which is Shit On The Radio) and then Nelly was telling me how it was her favorite song too. Then she gave me a hug and autographed my pass, a poster, and my CD cover. That was the BEST day of my life. Ashley Cleveland, Ohio
My friend, her sister, her sister's friend, and I all went to the Nelly Furtado concert in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. I'm a little bit crazy, especially with one of my favorite singers right there so I jumped around and screamed and yelled and did everything to try and get her attention and a couple times between songs when it got quiet i'd yell stuff out. The one time I yelled "I LOVE YOU!" and she giggled and said "i love you too". For awhile, about a whole song, i think she was looking right at me and my friend (maybe it was because we seemed to be the only ones standing up and being crazy in the little area we were in) but it was so cool! When we thought the concert was starting to come to an end we got out all our cameras and left. We talked to security guard after security guard to see if there was going to be autographs after and they all said probably not.we headed out back. We stood by where they load up all the equipment, chatting with other fans, the opening band, and security guards. As the show ended more people came out but slowly they left and we kept standing there (in the cold night air with no jackets!). The security kept saying "She left. Go home, she's gone" but we didnt believe them. we stood there for two hours, eventually starting to take turns standing there while the others sat in the warm car. i just got out of the car and went for my turn out in the cold when i saw someone coming. i yelled and freaked out for my friend to come and then out came NELLY!! it was great, even though she had a towel wrapped around her face and mouth (so that the cold air wouldnt wreck her beautiful voice). but when she got through the 4 or 5 people standing there and came to us i just froze (not because of the air lol). I gave her the angel bear i had bought her and she looked at my shirt reading it and said "Nelly Furtado. Did you make that?" "Ya," i said, excited she had noticed my old Tommy Hilfiger shirt i had decorated with sparkly words, stylish rips, and saftey pins. Then she said "What's your name?". i was so happy that she put "To Samantha" on it, it just means so much more, epecially since my friends didnt get their name on it. We took a picture of her (without her towel) and we ran back to the car. Sent in By: Sam

| I went to see Nelly live in concert two cities away from me at this place called Janice landingsmy best friend amber and my boyfriend zephin and I waited in line forever (good thing we got there extra extra early) I could see Nelly through the gates w/ fans who get to meet her, and then she got on stage and started to practice.(like she needs it) well the gates opened and the three of us ran so fast to the front row.She came on and it was like a dream Ive only been to one other concert and I wasnt up front, so this was really special not only was I at a Nelly furtado concert, I was 3 feet away. Any ways, I brought a bunch of pictures I printed online (colored) of her to sign. (Hopefully) well as the show went on I took lots of pictures (really awesome and unique ones) as she song I held some pictures up and she kept looking at me and signing, I know she wasnt signing for me, but have you ever had a idol/star 3 feet from you and sign all your favorite songs? Well I didnt till then. I can still picture her beautiful eyes looking into mine and signing. The show was sooo awesome.. When she was almost done she jumped off stage right in front of us to sign autographs, (she came to me first cause I think I held up her pictures too much ? ) well when she jumped down she fell into the board which holds us back, well my boyfriend caught her! ! If he wouldnt of I know she would of got hurt..Her bodyguard came running over (I think he thought we were pulling into the crowd) she was giggling and then signed my picture..My friend held onto her arm so tight that I had to make her let go ?. Then after she signed autographs in the front row she got back up on stage and the show still went on. She also threw me her guitar pick after when she broke out w/ hey man! ! Shes the bomb!
