THE LATEST ADDITIONS TO THE HERD ARE TWO OFF THE TRACK THOROUGHBRED MARES
Blushing Maiden, by Blushing Stage and out of Smart Maiden started 27 times (mostly on the turf) and brought home $36,669.  She retired sound in 2003.  I purchased her from Frank Dullea in MA.  She was listed with CANTER.

Blush is a good girl, and tries hard.  She's an easy, quiet ride.
These pictures were taken after months and months off!  She's such a good girl--no funny business, even bareback.
Yodar was retired from the track in 2001.  She retired sound with two chips in each front fetlock, and turned up lame after about a year.  I was very surprised to find her joints in such bad condition!  I guess sound as a dollar with no heat or filling doesn't mean much in a track horse <sigh>.  The chips were removed, but she has significant damage to the cartilage, and still isn't quite sound.

Yodar is by Desert Secret and out of Honey Dar.  She had 17 starts, and brought home $2,463.  I purchased her from Shane Spiess through CANTER MI.
