today was a decent dvd marathon day.  i watched benji the hunted.  i didnt kill myself.  i handled my devastation very well. 

then i watched the ringer.  johnny knoxville is one of a very few men that i would have sex with despite the lack of almost any chest hair.  i heart him.  and the tards were funny, as well.

airport '79: the concorde was wonderful cheesy fun with its awful effects and completely unthrilling peril scenes. 

freedomland turned out to be the most satisfying experience of the day.  a mystery i was dying to have explained, a tremendous performance from the goddess julianne moore, a powerhouse performance from samuel l jackson and nice supporting turns from the likes of edie falco and ron eldard.  not exactly the story i was expecting, a bit depressing with the rage-inducing racial angles, but painfully real storytelling.  i'm shocked it was pretty much blown off by audiences. 

now i'm making a new cd to listen to in the car.  then i might watch some more of rescue me, since it is clearly the best tv show ever.

tomorrow is saturday and i will have to work.  how sad.
