oh, what a lovely day!  yes, i dragged my lazy gay ass to the movies to see superman returns today.  it was wonderful beyond words.  the opening credits gave me chills and everything that followed was glorious and fantastic and life-affirming, as if it could magically be 1983 again!  or... something.  anyway, it was sooooo much fun and brandon is sooooo sexy (well, except for when they exposed his hairless chest... why, god... why?). 

after my date with superman, i came home and david came over and we watched rumor has it (charming and shirley maclaine was hilarious!), the producers (a non-stop singing dancing laugh riot!) and saw II (oh yes... there will be blood).  a good day and night for movie-watching.  thusly heretofore a day worth living.

tomorrow night i will go watch pirates of the caribbbbbbbean 2 and will be sure to review it for you here. 

and have you seen the teaser for spiderman 3?  cuz it looks fucking amazing.  could be better than the first two combined.  cant wait!
