so last night my stupid internet was disappointing me greatly and i was unable to get yahoo to let me update.  i nearly cried. 

yesterday was good, cuz i watched proof, which is the best movie ever.  i heard mostly mediocre things when it was at the theatre, but wow.  it was amazing and powerful and wonderful!  and excuse me, but why didnt gwyneth win an oscar for this role?  jake was, of course, precious and hope davis and anthony hopkins were outstanding.  but what a great story!  wow, i think this is one of my favorite movies ever.  or... something.  wow, go buy it or i will punch you in the olive garden.

i also watched walk on water yesterday, which is a wonderful israeli film about a mossad assassin tracking down a really old nazi who is still alive in germany.  in order to track him down, the agent (incredibly sexy, by the way) serves as a tour guide to the man's adult grandchildren.  he befriends them and gets to know them and has to question whether or not to carry out his assignment.  the nazi's grandson is gay so there is some nice bonding between the smolderingly sexy straight assassin and the reasonably cute german.  but even aside from that, its a really interesting and beautiful film.  great cinematography of a beautiful country.

today was okay.  i worked.  there were fun people to entertain me.  i still havent seen superman returns, which makes me want to die.  today doesnt really warrant much of an entry itself, so i'm gonna go now.
