Entry for May 25, 2006 ![]() so i guess this is the new version of my website. i hate the word blog, so let's just call this my bitchfest. the latest news from sunset boulevard. today i had a headache and slept all day long. i eventually awoke and decided to watch memoirs of a geisha, which was spectacular. i didnt read the book, so i dont have to measure it against anything and i just fucking loved it. it was gorgeous and beautiful and had outstanding performances by ziyi zhang, michelle yeoh and gong li. you should go buy your used copy at blockbuster right now! then i watched stephen king's desperation. while i remember loving the book and thinking it was one of steve's best since the early 80's, this movie lost something in the translation, which is odd considering steve translated it himself. i can only assume my original expectations on this 3 hour tv movie were the problem... it needed to be longer, like a 6 hour miniseries. that said, ron perlman was wonderful as the sheriff. considering dreamcatcher was a 2 hr 15 minute movie that i thought was a great adaptation of a similarly long novel, i dont know why this one couldnt have been as good, but it wasnt. eh. at least it was better than that silly remake of 'salem's lot. i also watched hostel, which was fucking wonderful. yes, sick, twisted, bloody, sexy fun! my beautiful boyfriend jay hernandez was my hero. he cried a lot, which was sweet, even if it was "please dont kill me" crying as opposed to "i love you, please dont leave me, erik" crying. and eli roth is definitely a big flamer. i havent seen a horror movie this gay since jeepers creepers 2! buy it now! unless youre squeamish, of course. i also watched some more dawsons creek. wonderful. wellllll... its time to see if there surveys waiting for me on myspace. kisses of eternal death! 2006-05-25 07:30:06 GMT

I think that when Jay was crying, the directors told him to think about you leaving him. That's why it was so good. He loves you that much.
