New Britian Rock Cats @  Binghamton Mets

Binghamton, NY — My first outing of the season was definitely a disappointing
one. Everything started off fine when I was let in to the stadium early to get autographs.
Then it started to rain and none of the players came out. It let up, and I was able to get
Aaron Hee on my team sheets during his pre-game run. After that only the starting lineup
came out. I was able to get former Mets pitcher Bob Ojeda on a card, and Craig Brazell,
and David Bacani on cards. I then got Marvin Seale, Jeff Duncan, and another player who
just got called up.  It was easy to get these guys because the stands are so close to the
field. However; Ronald Acuna, and Matt Watson refused to signed, avoided the fans.
Marvin Seale and David Bacani were cool. Seemed like a hassle for Brazell because he
sighed when I asked him. I got these Seven guys and then it started to rain, and I went to
my seat.
There was no one of getting the Rock Cats because the Mets took so long to get out on
the field. After the game it was raining and impossible to get autographs.  Not  a good
outing at all.

Tri-City Valley Cats @ Vermont Expos

Burlington, VT -- I founded the Valley Cats today which included Jamie Merchant a pitcher
who I played against many times in my career. It was a good day. I got 27 successes and
only had trouble with one player who was annoyed because I asked for this autorgaph
again by mistake. Scott Robsinson noticed it and told me he was a nice guy and signed
for me and talked a little bit. They team didn't have their manager and were missing some
players but it was still a great success to get.

Mahoning Valley Scrappers @ Vermont Expos

Burlington, VT -- After the Tri-City outing this was a major disappointment. One major
reason was the Scrappers had been 1-hit the previous night and they were going to be
swept by the last place expos. Most players avoided signing and snuck behind other
players who were signing. Unlike Tri-City the Scrappers never went back into the locker
room after infield, so it was hard to get them. I was successful in getting 14 players and
their coach former A's player Jim Kubiak. Also another major problem was that many of
the players were wearing incorrect numbers and the roster was completely wrong.
A couple times I called a player the wrong name because of this. Not a good thing. The
night ended with rain so I was unable to get the team after the game

Hudson Valley Renegades @ Vermont Expos

Burlington, VT -- Another great outing! This team was very good about signing. Some of
them even stopped when they noticed I was overwhelmed with people signing and waited
their turn. It was awesome. Robert Ellis who is going to be a great pitcher down the road
signed for me after he ate dinner next to the dugout while the team changed into their
game uniforms. These Guys were Awesome! I got 24 players, and 2 coaches. I missed 5
players but that was due tot he fact that the were behind schedule getting on the field
other than that. Great Night!

After I got Hudson Valley I went and talked to Clint Everts the #1 prospect in the Expos
orginization. Not only was this kid a great signer but he was awesome person. Talked to
about 5 hounds for about 5 minutes about different things. Great signer...Look for him
in the future.

Oneonta TIgers @ Vermont Expos

Burlington, VT -- As far as hounding goes this was by far the best hounding outing I have
ever had in my life. I was able to get every player and coach that they had. I got almost all
the players on the first night but went back the next night to get the remainding players.
Two of their coaches were former players Bill Mommboquette and Randy Ready. Ready
was awesome as he signed nicely and was awesome to talk to. All the Oneonta players
were easy to talk to and didn't feel rushed at any point. Prior to the first game a young
pitcher named Aneil Baldwin was warming up. He was trying out a new pitch and almost
took my face off. After he finished throwing he came over and talked to me for about five
mins and signed for people. Then today he talked to us again and was just an all around
good guy. The whole team was awesome but I talked to a few who included Robert
Huddleston, Kelly Hunt, John McGorty, Kenon Ronz. These guys actaully lined up to sign
and even signed when they were heading to the bathroom. Great team and autographs.
Many people also commented on how nice the whole team was to the younger fans. I look
forward to seeing many of these guys in the major leagues one day.
